I am Dr. Rachel Elahee, and I am on a quest to help women live happier, more fulfilled lives. For years, I burned the candle at both ends and in the middle too. I had the business, the kids, the nonprofit—the works. Despite my full plate, I continued to seek new ways to help clients, community, and everyone else who seemed to have a need that fit my skill set. My inability to say “no” and set limits resulted in more chaos. I kept filling my cup until it ran over. The more I gave, the more emotionally depleted I became. I started forgetting things and became less productive. I dreaded hearing the phone ring and opening my e-mail, because I knew more commitments awaited me. One day, I noticed that I was starting to avoid my life, because at the end of day, I didn’t like what it had become. I just didn’t want to do it anymore. And that scared me.
So I decided enough was enough. I sat down and took an inventory of my life. Then it clicked. I’d lost my power. I’d lost sight of my goals. I’d lost…me. I started stripping away everything that didn’t add to me. And I replaced that stuff with things that nourished and nurtured my soul— time with my children, great books, and the clients I knew I could serve best. I found my joy, and creativity came back. Things felt more balanced, vibrant, and alive.
I was re-introduced to the woman I used to be. And I discovered I’d missed her.
During my personal process of awakening, I was inspired to help other women who were on the same journey…women who needed to hit the reset button and refocus…women who needed to reignite their fire.
Let’s reassess your goals, rediscover your passions, and reclaim your power. Your career, your family, your spirit—you. It can all coexist. If you’ll trust me, I’d like to show you how.
